- Oversee and manage all technical aspects of our dairy production process from raw materials, processing and finished goods to our customers.
- Lead a team that includes a Quality Assurance Advisor, an onsite laboratory team and sanitation team.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety standards, including HACCP, BRC and local food standards authorities.
- Develop and implement quality control protocols and food safety measures for the manufacturing site and third-party logistics operator.
- Collaborate with Production, engineering and logistics departments to optimize production processes and food safety.
- Stay updated with latest trends and advancements in food science and chilled food FMCG operations.
- Train staff on new technology and protocols related to food science and food safety.
- Ensure all quality management systems and document control processes are up to date.
- Handle any technical issues that arise swiftly and professionally.
- Corroborate all quality processes and systems comply with internal standards linking with European head office and international requirements.
- Degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in a technical management role within the dairy industry or similar chilled food sector.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and other food safety regulations.
- Experience in the FMCG sector.
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
