Description
Here at Aspris, we are proud to be a leading provider of specialist education services with over 30 schools nationwide.
We are currently recruiting for an ambitious, passionate, and committed Assistant Headteacher to join our well-established team at Coxlease School. What you will receive:
We are proud of our excellent reputation for providing high quality education, care, therapy, and support for up to 110 pupils aged 5 to 19 years old who have difficulties regulating their emotional, social and mental health needs. We offer a stable and caring environment which, when combined with our high staff to pupil ratios, ensures that every young person has the opportunity to develop their abilities, share new experiences and reach their full potential.
If you are an outstanding relationship builder who can inspire exceptional performance and maintain a positive and enthusiastic learning environment for pupils and colleagues alike, this could be the perfect career move for you
*We are offering a relocation package of support to suitable candidates outside of the immediate region.
As an Assistant Headteacher you will need to:
If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, apply online today or contact Robyn Hill on to discuss the opportunity in more detail.
Accepting applications until : 12th May 2024
Interviews to be scheduled for : w/c 20th May 2024
The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher and ideally have experience of teaching and supporting young people within SEN, along with the following characteristics:
Resilience We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
Communication Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
Organisation You will have experience of organising, planning and teaching well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of the pupils as well as monitoring each students learning needs, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of each pupil.
Caring Our young people require the best care we can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.
Attentive No two tasks will be the same so being attentive to understand the needs of the young people we support is vital
Above all, we provide a supportive and collaborative working environment where you can flourish in your career and feel incredibly rewarded by helping those who need itmost.
If you want to progress your career in Education, Aspris Children's Services will help you get there.
Aspris is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including checks with Disclosure & Barring Service and at least 2 references which cover the last 3 years; for all our services we will request references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references may be requested prior to interview for roles within our Schools.
