    CloserStill is a dynamic fast growing companythat owns some of the UKs & Europes most successful tradeshows. All our events have significant growth both in sales anddelegate attendance and this is no accident. We have a team of themost dedicated and talented people in the industry and awardwinningmarketers.

    The purpose of this role is to helpproduce and deliver the marketing strategy promoting our events todelegates and exhibitors. You will be working across the marketingmix to promote our largest technology tradeshow taking place in theUK.

    Responsibilities

    • Workwith the Senior Marketing Manager Group Marketing Manager and EventDirector plus the wider team to develop and implement marketingstrategy positioning and key messages and productstrategy.
    • Execute the marketing campaign(s) andreport on effectiveness and results ensuring all elements achieverequired performance criteria.
    • Work with thesales team to create sales campaigns focused on both new clientgrowth and increased client retention. This includes messaging todrive revenue across all products such as digital sponsorships andfuture revenue opportunities.
    • Develop strategicaudience development plans and ensure marketing communicationsaccurately reflect event positioning and key messaging. Be the leadin messaging and writing regarding our outbound reach to ourcustomers. Good communication and writing skills areimperative.
    • Collaborate with partners todevelop marketing campaigns lead generation strategies andcompelling materials for all revenue streams across live anddigital products.
    • Ensure all relevantstakeholders had have reviewed external marketing materials beforesign off including Content Leads to ensure editorial consistency ofdocuments across show brands
    • Regularly reviewmarketing plan response rates/KPIs attendee demographics andindustry best practices to ensure marketing efforts are effectiveand successful making recommendations and adjustments asappropriate.
    • Strategise manage and optimisepaid media campaigns across various platforms to drive salesinquiries and foster audience interest ensuring alignment with theshows strategic goals and brand identity.
    • Collaborate with an external PR agency tomaximise brand exposure and amplify our presence across broadcastand industry media while ensuring our messaging is coherent andimpactful.
    • Oversee and execute communitybuilding and social media strategies that drive engagementinteraction brand affinity and could improve the audienceexperience.
    • Database management listmanagement and development with the support of businessintelligence and data teams.
    • Provide accurateand timely reporting of key marketing statistics andforecasts.
    • Manage marketing budgets purchaseorders and liaise with Finance on reportingrequirements.
    • Manage all planning and executionof registration process forvisitors
    • Responsible for the delivery of alldelegate visitor and attendee revenue generation plus developmentof attendee/delegate pricing strategies and reporting

    What you will offerus:

    • Great writingskills. You will mainly be working on technology events so youshould be confident in writing copy.
    • Ability toproduce creative and well thought out marketingplans
    • Ability to manage multiple projects anddeliver on time
    • Strong IT skills and systemsmanagement (e.g. experience working with CRM and CMS platformsdatabases email marketing and marketing automationsoftware)
    • Knowledge of data protectionregulations and experience of ensuring compliance in relation toemail marketing / data sharing with thirdparties
    • Able to identify search words / keyterms to be used in data segmentations based on industryknowledge
    • Experienced in devising andimplementing digital marketing strategies andcampaigns.
    • Solid knowledge and experienceutilising digital marketing tools (e.g. Google Analytics GoogleAds)
    • Flexibility to accommodate extendedworking hours as needed around key showtimes

    Experience

    Weare searching for someone who is looking for an opportunity to joina company that is marketing led and invests in its brands. Weparticularly want to see evidence of contributing to thedevelopment of marketing plans. Experience within marketing eventsis not a prerequisite but the candidate must show projectmanagement on an extensive scale and experience in managing directreports.
