    Job Description

    A global leading $10bn+ AUM Hedge Fund are looking for an individual to join their high performing investor relations team on a 12 month FTC. While the role is initially a FTC, my client has every intention of making the hire permanent, given the individual performs well. The previous 12-month FTC IR Associate had their role made full time and currently sits as a Senior Associate.

    With a senior member of the IR team going on maternity leave, my client needs somebody to come in and assist the team, working closely with the Global Head of Business Development & Investor Relations. Further, the firm is currently in growth mode and is actively raising capital, so the role will expand over time.

    The successful candidate will work in a broad IR remit for the fund that will include responding to client queries, maintaining and developing marketing materials, completing RFPs & DDQs and leading client ODD on-sites. Additionally, the hire will be responsible for managing relationships with service providers and platforms.

    The role will provide the successful candidate with high levels of training and exposure to some of the best performing professionals in the hedge fund space across BD/IR and the investment teams.

    Candidates should have 3-7 years of relevant investor relations/ODD experience within a reputable buy-side firm or investment consultant. Alternative investment product knowledge is highly preferred. A strong academic background is required.

    • Rather than set a specific budget, the role will certainly offer the successful hire an attractive step on current base pay and a large % bonus given the fund and the individual perform to a high standard.
