This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced programme manager to join our existing team.
Ideally, we are looking to recruit someone who has extensive knowledge of Community Mental Health. This role is offered on a 8 month fixed term contract or secondment.
Through this role you will bring GP clinical leaders together and inform BNSSGscommunity mental health programme transformation. The postholder will help toalign the community mental health programme with General Practice prioritiesand those of the BNSSG system, through the co-ordination of clinical leadershipinput into transformational projects which improve and develop Community MentalHealth support for patients.

Main duties of the job
Responsibilitiesto include:
Chair theGPCB Community Mental Health Committee.
Developand maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internally andexternally.
Work withcommunity mental health programme management team and workstream leads (ICB,Trusts) to develop and implement shared objectives.
Work withwider system clinical leads to develop joint ways of working and provideclinical assurance across the programme.
Ensurethe work of the Committee is linked with the work of Locality Partnershipsacross BNSSG, identifying commonalities and avoiding duplication where possible
Scope anddefine projects and initiatives in support of the programme plan which will beoverseen by the steering group, including providing information, analyticaladvice and allocating clinical expertise as needed to community mental healthprojects.
Contributeto business plans, dashboards, risk logs and other programme documentation tosupport the achievement of identified workstream and programme outcomes.
Contributeto the strategic planning of the steering group board, identifyinginterdependencies across projects/functions, potential impacts on widerorganisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustmentsas necessary
Contributeto development of policies and procedures for general practice to support thework of the workstream board.

Weoffer direct support to practices with many different aspects of running theirday-to-day businesses through our Practice Support Team. We work closely with our practices to amplify their voices in ourarea's discussions and decisions about healthcare delivery.
InSeptember 2020, One Care established a GP Collaborative Board (GPCB) toaccelerate and amplify the representation of general practice in the widerhealth and social care system. The GP Collaborative Board enables generalpractice to engage effectively with the developing Integrated Care System andto support development of strong place-based Integrated Care Partnerships. TheGPCB brings together all general practice leaders so we can function as anequal beside other providers and the commissioner. The GPCB has GPCBProgramme Managers which strategically operationalise GPCB priorities.

Job purpose:
To bring GP clinical leaders together and inform BNSSGscommunity mental health programme transformation. Enablegeneral practice to feed into the design, development and mobilisation stagesof a model of care that delivers the outcomes of the CommunityMental Health programmes objectives, reducesinequalities across the system and responds to local needs
Lead theCommunity Mental Health GPCBsteering group who will feed into the work, have oversight of general practiceprocesses and support clinical assurance made up of representatives acrossthe six GP localities and those with specialist interest in this workstream
Implementa GP programme plan of general practice Community Mental Health priorities and input which will support theprogramme objectives implementation plan
Provide asingle contact point for other BNSSG providers, the system workstream programmeteam and general practice to support the co-ordination of GP leadership andinput in to the community mental health programme
SupportGPCB to ensure sufficient resource available to general practice to deliver theprogramme plan
Provideregular updates and communication on the Community Mental Health programme tokey General Practice stakeholders and governance groups.
