- Drive continuous improvement within your section, optimsing processes and resources for enhanced efficiency
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date systems to provide valuable information for decision-making and improved visibility for the wider business.
- Lead recruitment activities, manage team member performance, conduct grievance procedures, and oversee capability development in line with company policies.
- Completed (or working towards) British Safety Council Level 2 qualification
- Proven understanding of lean management principles
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including the ability to motivate, coach, and provide constructive feedback
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to have difficult conversations and make informed decisions based on available information
- Minimum of Level 2 in the National Qualification Framework (NQF) or equivalent workplace experience (e.g., Intermediate apprenticeship, Level 2 NVQ, GCSEs A*-C, O Levels A-C, CSE Grade 1)

The role
The purpose of this role is to provide the first line management capability for vehicle inspection, service and repair activity on a vast range of military equipment within Catterick main workshop. This role is to manage a team of mechanical engineers and electrical engineers, ensuring the team have the correct SQEP, tools and processes they need to safely deliver outputs against the plan(s). They ensure systems are updated providing accurate information for decision making and giving visibility for the wider business to support.
Day to day, you'll:
This role is full time, 37 hours per week, and will be based on-site at MOD Catterick, near Richmond.

Qualifications for the Workshop Supervisor
