    Software Developer (backend) Python / TypeScript/ AWS Edinburgh

    Our Edinburgh based, philanthropic are on a mission to build cutting-edge, cloud-based distributed systems with a focus on serverless architectures.

    As part of the core backend team, you'll play a vital role in creating solutions that meet the needs of our players and business stakeholders.


    Here's what you can expect:

    • Build Scalable Solutions:
    Prioritising scalability, performance, and observability in everything they do.

    Practicing CI/CD, deploying changes continuously to deliver high-quality features of measurable value.

    • Collaborative Environment:

    Work closely with agile teams to refine user stories, plan work iterations effectively, and engage in local and international collaboration.

    Passionate about continuously improving the development processes, so you'll have the chance to put your ideas into practice.


    Your Qualities:

    • Expertise in Python and Typescript.
    • Strong testing skills, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
    • Experience with AWS and cloud-native serverless technologies.
    • Proficiency in deploying software via Jenkins and automation using Npm/Poetry, Bash, and Docker.
    • Proficient in using Git for source code control.
