    Top Job Recruitment is currently looking to fill a key position for a Senior Support Worker at a reputable children's home dedicated to providing top-notch care and support to vulnerable children, ensuring they thrive and realize their full potential.


    Job Description:
    • Play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of each child in placement.
    • Provide guidance, support, and supervision to residential workers, promoting professionalism and compliance with policies.
    • Create a positive and nurturing environment for the children to flourish.

    Responsibilities:
    • Key Responsibility 1: Care and Welfare of Children
      • Manage shifts to guarantee the safety and engagement of children.
      • Follow each child's Placement Plan consistently.
      • Promote education and ensure regular attendance.
    • Key Responsibility 2: Guidance and Support to Residential Workers
      • Ensure staff professionalism and adherence to policies.
      • Monitor compliance with regulations and facilitate staff exposure to various working methods.
      • Review Logbook messages, complete forms promptly, and uphold confidentiality.
    • Key Responsibility 3: Supervision of Staff
      • Conduct effective supervisions and provide staff guidance on training.
      • Address staff progress or attitude concerns promptly.
    • Key Responsibility 4: Reporting Concerns
      • Promptly report any serious issues to the Registered Manager.
    • General:
      • Attend meetings and training sessions as necessary.
      • Contribute to a positive work environment and demonstrate flexibility in working hours.
      • Maintain awareness of Health and Safety regulations and perform any other reasonable duties requested.
      • Safeguard children's welfare, adhere to relevant policies, and promote Company values.

      Qualifications and Skills:
      • Previous experience in residential care, preferably with children.
      • Strong leadership, communication, and child welfare understanding.
      • Effective task management and familiarity with legislation.
      • Compassionate and patient attitude towards children with flexibility in working hours.
