is a full-time hybrid role for an Assistant Underwriter - UK Casualty at Burns & Wilcox United Kingdom.

The Assistant Underwriter will be responsible for assisting Head of Casualty to underwrite and grow a profitable and diversified portfolio of UK Casualty business, on a direct basis.nThis role will be located in City Of London and will have flexibility for some remote work.

Role InformationnPrior experience as an Assistant Underwriter is essential (preferably minimum 2 years)nAdheres to underwriting standards, instructions and good practice to minimize and maximise efficiency.

nAnalysing data and supporting team from administration capacitynAssisting the head of CasualtynParticipate in all relevant meetings, in order to share and develop strategy, knowledge and best practicenPositively promote the department, division and companynStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsnAttention to detail and ability to work with complex informationnExcellent written and verbal communication skillsnAbility to work independently and as part of a teamnProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsnCert CII
