    We have an exciting opportunity for a substantive post to fulfill the current vacancy. We are looking for a highly motivated, and experienced healthcare practitioner to apply for Education Facilitator post for Bands 2-4 team for a 0.6 WTE working pattern.

    Main duties of the job

    Working closely with the members of the education academy and clinical colleagues from across the organization, this role is pivotal in assuring that our unregistered nursing workforce receive a high quality learning experience allowing them to deliver safe and compassionate care.

    Essential criteria

  • Registered Nurse /Midwife/Allied Health Professional
  • Relevant first degree or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to undertake a Practice Education Qualification
  • Experience

  • Teaching experience
  • Mentoring, supervising and assessing learners in practice
  • Understanding of the principles of clinical governance

    Essential criteria

  • Good organizational skills including prioritizing workload
  • Proficient IT Outlook, word and Excel skills

  • Excellent up to date clinical skills
  • Using expertise to facilitate and support learners and others in groups or as individuals
  • Facilitating teaching and learning on a virtual platform
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, this will include the ability to write reports, develop action plans, use email and attending meetings
