    Description

    We are partnering with an innovative investment firm based in London, known for their unique approach to event and catalyst-driven investing. Their firm operates with shared and centralized resources, and they prioritize a trading-oriented mindset over a traditional fund management structure. We are not a classic "pod" organization and prefer individuals who have a different perspective from that background.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify and analyze market events, catalysts, and trading opportunities that drive alpha generation.
    • Develop and implement trading strategies based on event-driven, catalyst-driven, and relative value (RV) approaches.
    • Utilize a mix of fundamental and trading-oriented analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities in the market.

    Requirements:

    • 1-5 years of experience in event-driven, catalyst-driven, or relative value investing, preferably with a background in research at a bank or hedge fund.
    • Strong understanding of market dynamics, with the ability to identify and capitalize on short-term trading opportunities.
    • Experience in analyzing market events, earnings releases, corporate actions, and other catalysts that impact stock prices.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment with limited resources and a focus on risk management
