    Job Title: PV & BESS Design Engineer

    Location: London, United Kingdom

    Our UK offices are located in London, overlooking Green Park. We have a large portfolio of development-stage solar PV and battery assets at Elements Green and as such, are looking to add additional engineering support for our UK and Australian team

    Help shape the energy turnaround at Elements Green - as a Design Engineer for PV Systems and BESS (m/f/d)

    • You will draw up layouts and detailed drawings to support development and EPC team, for both PV Solar and BESS.
    • You will support procurement with creating a complete and detailed Bill Of Materials, Technical specifications and reviewing technical documentation provided by suppliers.
    • You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining connections with suppliers to discuss technical solutions for projects.
    • You will manage electrical engineering components within the design phase including single line diagrams and substation design
    • You will be responsible for the electrical planning and design of open-space PV systems (from 10 MW upwards) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
    • You will draw up circuit diagrams, electrical grid integration concepts, control concepts and protection concepts in compliance with all relevant standards.
    • You will be engaged in conversation with for project-specific agreements with grid operators and plant certifiers to support technical matters
    • You work in close cooperation with the project developers and project engineers as an expert (m/f/d) in the field of electrical engineering.
    • You are responsible for electrical engineering issues in the project and support the commissioning of PV systems.

    • You have a degree or a completed apprenticeship in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable field or civil engineering.
    • You already have several years of experience in the area of PV projects, and ideally some experience with BESS projects as well
    • You are proficient in the use of AutoCAD and PVCase as well PVsyst programs.
    • In addition to your independent way of working, we are impressed by your practical orientation and your ability to solve problems.
