    What you will be doing as a Building Surveyor...

    As a Building Surveyor, you'll conduct thorough property surveys, focusing on identifying defects and ensuring compliance with standards. Your tasks will include not only assessing property conditions but also creating schedules and detailed specifications for necessary interventions.

    You'll play a central role in project and contract management, overseeing property maintenance projects from start to finish. This involves managing tendering processes, selecting contractors, and ensuring efficient, high-quality work.

    In addition, you'll handle legal documentation supporting your projects' frameworks, and create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to all involved parties.

    We offer a competitive salary of £41,182 - £43,241 per year for a 35-hour work week, starting with 26 days of annual leave and increasing up to 30 days over 5 years, in addition to bank holidays!

    What will you need?

    • A relevant building surveying qualification to at least HNC/HND level, with experience in social or private housing surveying.
    • A full clean driving license and access to your own vehicle.

    • Strong organizational skills, able to carry out tasks accurately and efficiently under pressure.
