    About the post and you

    This is newly created post within a new cross-cutting Economy & Sustainability Directorate under fresh and ambitious leadership. You would have an excellent opportunity to expand and consolidate your career by operating across an extensive peer group and diverse range of services within a newly created Regeneration, Economy & Skills department. This post in particular offers you the opportunity to work with Ealing's business. communities and investors and to deliver a programme of initiatives that will nurture Ealing businesses to grow, innovate and diversify and to attract and support new businesses into the borough and help deliver new jobs for Ealing.

    You will be the key point of contact and take on corporate Account Management approach for business relationships working with Chief Officer and Director level executives at major and large businesses to nurture positive and resilient relationships, linked to Council Plan outcomes.

    Employment Support

    Training to meet the skills gap.

    You will lead on designing and delivering a targeted support programme for growth sector businesses working closely with a range of public and private sector partners and stakeholders and expanding sector based collaborative opportunities across the borough. This will include supporting the council's inward investment programme.

    You will have the opportunity to develop appropriate infrastructure, data systems, support networks, and governance to enable major and large businesses to interface more effectively with one another and with SMEs and micro businesses that will strengthen local supply chain networks and ultimately retain wealth within the borough as well as creating new jobs. This will include negotiating with large and major employers and businesses to ensuring inclusive pathways are developed to meet the local economy's future skills needs thereby making it more dynamic, inclusive, and resilient.
