- Ensure highquality financial management and reporting across the Trust.
- Manage accounting functions: purchase ledger, sales ledger, and payroll.
- Develop and implement a 3year financial plan with the Chief Financial Officer in Newham, East London.
- Support the Trust's growth strategy, including financial due diligence and onboarding of new schools.
- Liaise on contract reviews and maintain the Contracts Register.
- Monitor expenditure and income, ensuring adherence to DfE statutory guidelines and the Academies Financial Handbook.
- Enhance internal audit controls.
- Engage in professional development to maintain and improve knowledge and practice.
