    Description

    Join Our Team as a Housing Officer at a Leading Housing Association

    • Responsible and accountable to residents for providing an excellent, empathetic, and personal housing management service
    • Regular communication and meetings with each resident to resolve any raised issues
    • Work creatively within a team to ensure resident satisfaction
    • Support tenants to maintain their tenancies and wellbeing
    • Manage tenancies effectively and address unacceptable behavior constructively
    • Collaborate with residents to offer necessary support for tenancy sustainability
    • Prepare void properties to let promptly while adhering to standards
    • Follow lettings procedure meticulously for a streamlined process
    • Identify tenant support needs and establish suitable partnerships
    • Authorise repair work orders and ensure completion to satisfaction
    • Manage repairs effectively through collaboration with Asset Management
    • Ensure efficient rent and service charge collection and debt management
    • Accurately account for services to ensure transparent and fair charges
    • Set service charges with guidance from the central service team
    • Make home visits to understand residents' needs and address property repairs

    Essential Requirements:

    • Previous experience as a Housing Officer
    • Strong communication skills
    • Immediate availability or on short notice
