    Description

    Are you an experienced financial accounts / control professional looking for a new challenge? Do you consider yourself to be systems savvy and get excited at the thought of playing a leading role in a systems implementation? My client is a growing international development charity who is currently seeking a Financial Controller to join their close-knit team on a permanent, remote basis.

    reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing all things Financial Accounts for the charity, whilst providing leadership to a small team and playing a critical role in several upcoming projects.

    The key duties of this Financial Controller role are as follows:

    Provide leadership and guidance to the team, offering first-class coaching to give them every opportunity to progress and reach their full potential.

    Play a key role in the design, development, testing and roll out of the new finance system, ensuring it interlinks well with other systems used across the charity.

    Take the lead in the annual audit process, acting as the key contact for the auditors and preparing all requested data files in a timely manner.

    Full responsibility for preparing cashflow forecasts and managing the organisation's investments.
    Facilitate the production of the statutory accounts, ensuring all regulatory requirements are being met.
