    About the jobMy client (a leading law firm) are looking for a Business Analyst.

    The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for introducing and managing business change by defining the business needs and identifying solutions, impacts, problems and risks to support the delivery of change in the firm working on programmes and projects with stakeholders across a range of business service functions.

    TeamThe Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the enterprise-wide governance and delivery of programmes and projects, working closely with other business services functions.

    The PMO portfolio of work is broad and includes business process improvements, business transformation and technology implementations often working with a third party supplier or solution provider.

    Key ResponsibilitiesGather business requirements ensuring that requirement statements are complete, traceable and unambiguous, model process maps using BPMN notation and other key documents as requiredCapture and document the as-is and to-be processes using a variety of business analysis techniquesAssist with the definition of the business case, inclusing identifying costs, benefits, impacts and risks Work with third party suppliers or solution providers to manage and deliver changes in the most optimised manner Ensure that solutions will meet business requirements and that the expected benefits and value are captured, understood, tracked and realised.

    Required ExperienceExperience of following business analysis best practices, policies, procedures and processes with the ability to adapt them as appropriate to meet the specific needs of the projectExperience with process modelling including the use of appropriate modelling tools, techniques, and standardsLegal sector or professional services experience gained in an international firm; understanding and experience of legal business processesEducated to degree level standard or equivalentBusiness Analysis accreditation (Business Analysis/ AgileBA / Process Improvement / Lean).If this role is of interest please apply or reach out directly.
