    Description

    As aSecurity Officer at Sodexo at Burton-on-Trent, you'll be responsible for designated assigned sites, to ensure standards of service detailed in the service level agreement, KPIs and within the schedules of the contractual terms and conditions are achieved, maintained, and developed through effective supervision of the service line.

    Carry out safety walks, conversation and to supervise Safety standards, across area of responsibility thereby ensuring that our people and customers are always kept safe whilst ensuring the site folder is up to date with all new and relevant policies.

    Deliver all mandatory training within a given timeline and support with additional training needs to the front-line teams.

    Ensure effective force management that we have full coverage whilst monitoring attendance / absence and following policy and procedures around triggers and absence management.

    Ensure staff records are accurately maintained and HR issues are dealt with appropriately and in accordance with Legislation and Company policy.

    Liaising with control room team with resourcing planned activities, reactive and ad hoc requests.
    SIA Licence holder (Door supervisor and CCTV)

    • 5 years experience within the security industry and as a supervisor
    Have a sound knowledge of the Quality Management Systems (Security)
    Able to use computerised systems in operation within the security sector
    Good understanding of the CCTV, fire and security systems
    Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and data protection issues
    To be able to write accurate, legible operational logs, security reports and statements.

    44 per hour
    12 hour Shifts - 3 Days, 3 Night then 3 Off
    Must hold SIA licence

    Effective collaborative working with Sodexo external partners, MOJ and Her Majesty's Prisons and Probation Service (HMPPS) employees and MOJ consumers and personnel
    Flexibility on work schedule and location, with flexibility around hours of work, including overnight stays are required in order to meet business needs and as appropriate/necessary
    Ensure that all staff training is up to date in line with the
    All noncompliance to company H&S and People policies and procedures are investigated.
    Able to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
    DBS and BPSS vetting is required for all roles within contract
    IOSH Level 2 or equivalent safety qualification
    Level 2 or above qualification and or Member of a facilities organisation such as IWFM
    SIA licence
