    Description

    New Job: Quality Administrator - Food Industry

    We are looking to recruit for a meticulous and systematic Quality Administrator to support the Food Safety and Quality team for our client based in Bedford.

    You will play an important part in implementing and monitoring food safety standards to ensure compliance with legislative, customer, and internal requirements across various areas including Quality Assurance, Technical Services, Hygiene, and Microbiology.

    You do not need to have all the experience as you will learn this on the job, but you do need experience as a senior administrator within a quality or technical position.

    Benefits:

    • Salary £28,000 - £30,000pa
    • Hours - Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm

    The Job:

    • Review and file Quality Management System (QMS) paperwork from various production departments, liaising with production teams as necessary.
    • Assist in coordinating complaints, investigations, and closing non-conformances.
    • Create and maintain accurate technical specifications for finished goods and raw materials.
    • Identify and report non-conformances throughout the company, implementing corrective actions.
    • Provide cover for the QA Team during absences and holidays.
    • Uphold the integrity of the company through positive and constructive actions and attitudes at all times.
    • Collate and register all samples and results for microbiological and chemical testing on site, and trend results from the lab.

    About You:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, MS Teams).
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with individuals at all business levels.
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Happy to work at times in a chilled environment
    • Experience with quality systems.
    • Knowledge of ISO/BRC standards.
