With a proven track record of working towards ambitious KPI targets, you possess a keen understanding of all financial aspects of managing a leisure centre.
Your experience in liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders, from senior management to the public, speaks volumes of your strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ensure the centres operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all relevant policies, processes, and procedures.Financial Management:
Prepare the annual budget with the General Manager, manage and monitor said budget, and address any financial discrepancies.
Planning & Strategy:
Support the development and execution of centre business plans and KPIs.
Work closely with the centre team to offer a balanced programme of activities that meet both financial objectives and community needs.
Staff Management:
Ensure an effective staffing structure, oversee staff deployment, and conduct performance reviews to ensure consistent high standards.
Customer Service:
Address escalated customer comments and complaints professionally, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for all visitors.
Continuous Learning:
Attend relevant training sessions and be available for call-outs when needed.
The role also involves interaction with other Council officers, councillors, contractors, and members of the public.
