    People Operations & Office Co-ordinatorOur client is on a quest to be the world's most proactive bank.

    They improve lives by providing better clarity, intelligence and technology to empower every individual in making the smartest financial decisions.

    The founding team is in place, and they have launched with a fully functional App.

    Starting out with a current account and credit card, they will be broadening their portfolio soon with the foundations in place for a positive, supportive and thoughtful new bank.

    We are now seeking a highly organised and resourceful individual to join our team as a People & Office Coordinator.

    Reporting to our Head of People, you will play a crucial role in managing administrative tasks related to team members and office space, contributing to the development of a positive workplace culture.

    What will you be doing as the People Operations & Office Co-ordinator?

    Office Management:
    Oversee daily office operations, including facilities management, supplies and vendor management.
    Manage office budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to company policies.
    Coordinate office events, meetings, and employee activities to foster a positive work environment.
    Lead the development and execution of the social calendar, team-building activities, and company-wide events.
    Plan and organise engaging team-building activities to enhance collaboration and team spirit.
    Manage health and safety assessments, including desks & equipment.
    Welcome visitors professionally, warmly, and in an approachable manner, including coordinating meeting room bookings.
    Support office relocation, coordinating logistics, and enhancing the office environment in line with our rebrand initiatives.
    Manage hot desk allocation system to optimise workspace usage efficiently.
    Ensure a well-kept office environment, emphasisng cleanliness and tidiness for the team.


    People Operations & Administration:
    Assist with various HR administrative tasks such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining personnel records.
    Manage employee benefits administration, ensuring compliance with company policies.
    Support the Head of People in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and initiatives for a positive employee experience.
    Coordinate diaries for interviews, both with candidates and hiring managers.
    Take minutes during committee meetings, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
    Provide diary management and ad hoc administrative support to the leadership team.
    Support the operations team with scanning and shredding of post. A little about youYou are a natural collaborator with outstanding organisational skills.
    You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport across all levels.
    You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer applications.
    You have solid working knowledge of office operations and administrative procedures.
    You are able to handle confidential information with the upmost discretion.
    You are flexible, adaptable, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
    You are service-minded with a commitment to providing exceptional support internally and externally.
    You have a positive attitude, approaching tasks with optimism and enthusiasm.
    You have a 'get things done' mindset, proactive in problem-solving and task accomplishment.
