    Product Marketing Manager

    Salary: £65,000 to £75,000 depending on experience + Package

    Location: Nottingham, on-site 3 days weekly

    Our client, a leading global manufacturer of capital equipment across various industries, seeks a product marketing manager with strong technical acumen to oversee a high-performing product line.

    This role offers the chance not only to market the product but also to actively shape its future, serving as a bridge between customers and product development teams.

    What's Needed:

    • 5+ years of product marketing experience in a B2B engineering firm
    • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking regarding product and business matters
    • Solid technical grasp and familiarity with technical specs and documentation
    • Previous exposure to large multinational corporations and interaction with stakeholders at all levels
    • Strong decision-making abilities in assessing product ideas and determining their viability
    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Product exposure in engineering solutions, covering mechanical, electrical, and software components
    • Experience with gated development processes like stage gate or phase gate

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing front-end product marketing tasks, including Voice of the Customer interviews and concept development
    • Crafting value-oriented messaging and materials and collaborating with sales and marketing for effective end-user communication
    • Designing the marketing strategy for the product, encompassing market segmentation, requirements, positioning, and pricing
    • Serving as the product expert, spotting new technology and business opportunities
    • Transforming market and customer needs into innovative solutions
    • Regularly engaging with the sales team and providing them with sales support tools
