- Be the primary representative of the Telegraph's Affiliate team, developing new relationships with affiliate advertisers, agencies and networks, and maintaining existing ones.
- Negotiate best in market commission rates with partners to reflect the value we generate through high quality content - Take ownership of the Affiliate tenancy sales pipeline, meetings and exceeding quarterly sales targets
- Keep track of exclusive rates and monitor when these are coming to an end
- Take ownership of the Affiliate Partnerships inbox, and respond to incoming sales queries
- Create and maintain media decks that showcase the value of what we bring to our affiliate partners, and ensure these are regularly distributed to the relevant contacts at our clients, networks and agencies.
- Attend events and and regularly visit the affiliate networks and agencies to ensure face-to-face time with key contacts
- Work closely with the Affiliate production team to ensure the campaigns we sell are delivered to expectation.
- Experience in consultative client-facing roles with revenue or sales targets
- Strong and confident communication skills - you can take complicated concepts and explain them simply in a way that's tailored to your audience at all levels of seniority
- Brilliant presentation skills - including compiling high standard presentation decks
- Determined, resilient and driven by targets, always striving to exceed them
- Relationship building - you make connections easily and maintain those relationships.
- You actively listen to advertiser needs, and understand the need to prioritise the long term commercial relationship over smaller short-term gains
- Ability to prioritise and manage your own time effectively - you take responsibility for your own pipeline and can manage peaks and troughs in your workload.

Role purpose and overview
We're looking for a driven Partnerships and Sales Manager to join our growing Affiliate Partnerships team. You'll help to grow affiliate revenue by developing profitable long term relationships with partners through a combination of CPA and fixed fee payment models.
Key responsibilities
You'll be the day-to-day representative of the Telegraph to our affiliate partners, championing the value of our high quality content and the crucial role we play for our readers in their online shopping journeys. You'll be responsible for increasing our revenue lines through CPA improvements and fixed fee sales with core advertisers
