Description
Interim Team Manager - ASC59 per hour PAYE
37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
Provide management oversight to the Social Work service ensuring that the local authority's statutory duties and responsibilities are delivered effectively – to support and supervise the staff who are delivering the service - contribute to maintaining effective relationships with partner organisations, both internally and externally to the Local Authority.
Assist the Strategic Manager in the overall management of the staff and resources of the team with particular emphasis on practice to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service.
Contributes to the overarching strategy around Adult Safeguarding – ensuring that immediate protection planning is considered once an adult at risk has been identified.
Ensure the regular and effective analysis, monitoring, measurement and maintenance of the performance of the team against agreed targets and performance indicators.
Support the Strategic Manager in the identification of resource shortages and contribute to the planning and development of services.Produce and implement a team business plan as required and in accordance with directorate and corporate policy.
Lead on and take part in the reviewing and implementation of policy and procedures across the service
