    NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting an experienced HV SAP Technical Manager to focus on the delivery of technical excellence across the business reporting to the Divisional Technical Manager. The Technical Manager will be supporting Mechanical, Electrical and building fabric maintenance contracts (Hard FM) across London & the South East. The role is mobile with access to the NG Bailey office network and on site where required.

    The Technical Manager will act as an HV/LV Senior Authorised Person for the business. You will support the business in ensuring that technical and statutory compliance across the full range of static sites and mobile service delivery contracts is maintained to the highest standard, providing support to operational teamsand ensure statutory compliance is maintained in line with contract requirements.

    Support the Facilities Services business in providing technical compliance leadership, support covering all the mechanical and electrical aspects of contract service. Ensuring the following:

    • Technical compliance commitments are met and exceeded.
    • Staff are suitably trained, and competency assessed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    YOU WILL:

    • Conduct technical audits across the FS business in line with the audit programme.
    • Ensure that a robust set of Emergency & Standard Operating Procedures are produced and maintained for each site using the NG Bailey standard.
    • Be fully conversant with the Company procedures, associated guidance manuals and technical standards/regulations.
    • Ensure use / implementation of CAFM tools and contractual and legislative obligations are adhered to.
    • Co-ordinating the implementation of standard operational processes across business group, including Business Focussed Maintenance and Energy Focussed Maintenance.
    • Ensure that all engineers are trained and competent to carry out their role and there are adequate (Senior) Authorised Persons available to operate the sites
    • Develop and maintain technical and regulatory standards and requirements for maintenance & project design by the constant updating and implementation of effective processes policies and procedures throughout the company.
    • Provision of technical support in all aspects of the contract, including shutdowns, NG Bailey Projects, day to day advice, Bulletin/article compliance as needed this may include out of hours works
    • Be familiar with all current and future legislation regarding Building Regs, standards, CDM, Health, Safety & Environmental issues relating to technical activities, maintain an ongoing awareness of national and international standards of technical expertise, reporting back to appropriate personnel any significant changes.

    REQUIREMENTS

    YOU WILL HAVE:

    • Currently practising as an HV Senior Authorised Person (HV SAP)
    • Electrical qualified to undertake the duties of a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor
    • Experience of delivering exceptional operational delivery by self and through others
    • Experience in the management of staff and subcontractors.
    • Likely to have more than 10 years managerial and/or technical experience. Member of a Professional Body with Intermediate Level Qualifications as a minimum
    • Good building services knowledge
    • Detailed knowledge of PPM Systems.
