    Housekeeping Team Leader

    Location: London

    Salary: £26,862 - £29,887 + bonus + benefits (depending on experience)

    Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Housekeeping Team Leaders work 5 days out of 7, between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Weekends will be required on a rota basis.

    You will play a vital role in ensuring our buildings are orderly and well-maintained to create a safe and welcoming environment where our students can excel and prosper. This is a hands-on position that offers ample opportunities to engage with students and share your expertise, contributing to the sense of belonging they experience in our homes.

    You will be:

    • Organizing the team's daily activities, assigning tasks, upholding standards, and establishing objectives
    • Maintaining a tidy, safe, and protected environment for all, collaborating with maintenance teams to address concerns
    • Providing practical assistance to the team to support their growth and development, aiding them in fulfilling their potential
    • Setting a positive example by promptly addressing any mess or issue encountered

    You will also ensure that you and your team:

    • Build relationships with our students, assisting them in adjusting to their new surroundings
    • Listen actively to our students, guiding them toward available support when needed
    • Take responsibility for problems, including swift and appropriate action during incidents or emergencies
    • Abide by our regulations, procedures, and prescribed working methods consistently, including basic monitoring and compliance obligations
