    They provide businesses with custom, secure solutions,primarily working in the cloud with AWS and GCP to process and analyselarge volumes of client data.

    About the Role They are seeking a highlyskilled and experienced Cloud Data Engineering Manager to manage their dataengineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalablecloud-based data solutions tailored to meet their clients' needs andrequirements.

    They are specifically looking for expertise in AWS and GCP.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Manage a team of data engineers, setting prioritiesand fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement inpartnership with the Project Manager and project delivery team whiledriving initiatives to optimise data engineering processes Collaborate withcross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable dataplatforms on cloud infrastructure, ensuring data integrity throughgovernance policies and supporting continuous delivery of data solutionsDefine and execute the data engineering strategy in alignment with the CTOand leadership team, acting as a subject matter expert in cloudtechnologies and data architecture Build strong relationships with clientsby understanding their business objectives and translating them intotechnical data solutions, serving as a trusted advisor to ensure valuedelivery Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technicalstakeholders, promoting data-driven decision-making and effectivelymanaging client expectations and project outcomes

    Required Experience:

    Demonstrable experience (2-3 years) in managing/leading data engineeringteams, focused on cloud-based solutions, providing guidance, mentorship,and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment Expertise inthe following cloud platforms: AWS and GCP, and proficiency in cloud-nativedata services (e.g.

    , S3, Athena, Lambda, Glue)

    Advanced working knowledgein programming languages – specifically Python Hands-on experience indata pipeline development using tools such as AWS Glue Excellentcommunication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulatecomplex technical concepts to all stakeholders (non-technical andtechnical) Experience working closely with clients to understand theirbusiness objectives, challenges, and data-related requirements in order todeliver value-add solutions DevOps and continuous delivery experience(automation, monitoring, logging, auditing) Desirable Experience:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering,or a related field Domain knowledge of common information securitymanagement frameworks and regulatory requirements and applicable standardssuch as ISO 27001 Experience in using modern data warehouse platforms suchas Snowflake and Iceberg Certifications in cloud platforms and/or dataengineering (e.g.
