About the role

In this role, you will provide support to vulnerable individuals residing in roadside encampments and settled sites, assisting with rent, repairs, and housing-related matters. You will engage with both the Traveller community and the public to address roadside encampments, requiring quick responses to emerging priorities. Collaboration with colleagues and a proactive approach are key to success, as the position plays a vital role within the larger Leeds Housing Options Service.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

To deliver quality housing management services that positively impact customers and the community.

You should be customer-focused and dedicated to providing exceptional service.

Principal Responsibilities:

Oversee a specific geographical service area
Maintain high standards in the estate environment
Achieve performance targets within the assigned area
Maximize income streams for the authority and tenants
Address anti-social behavior and collaborate with agencies for community safety
Enforce tenancy conditions when necessary
Supervise and manage staff
Provide advice and support to customers
Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures
Promote tenant engagement and involvement
Contribute to policy development and improvement
Support equality and diversity in service delivery
Promote the values and objectives of Leeds City Council

Qualifications and Knowledge
