    Description

    The role reports into the Group Head of IT Infrastructure and will bebased primarily in the London HX1 office.

    Purpose of Job

    As the regional Senior ITManager, you will be the main point of contact to all staff in relation to ITrelated matters, working with the wider Global IT team to resolve issues andwith external vendors where required.

    The UK & Ireland region is agrowth area for JTC; you will assist with the development, implementation andmaintenance of the local IT strategy that will fully align with the growth ofthe region.

    You will ensure that computers,software, and networking functions work together to provide a stableenvironment , leading on the installation, maintenance, and support of JTC's ITsystems in our UK & Ireland region.

    You will ensure the delivery ofJTC's infrastructure architecture, our service standards and best practices,the management of relevant infrastructure partners. JTC have been successful inoperating a stable, scalable, and strong IT infrastructure, and this role willbe dedicated to continuing this strategy as we continue our growth aspirationsin the Cosmos era.

    Main Responsibilities and Duties

    • You will oversee and the regional IT maintenance/support and management of the computers, software systems and data.
    • The role will see you on the front line when it comes to supporting the regions IT requirements, solving technical issues, working on technical projects, and implementing technology solutions in line with the firms Digital Strategy.
    • You will use your technical experience to resolve support requests. Some of the core tasks will include - Active Directory maintenance and support, Citrix environment support, Windows Server support (including fileservers, SQL servers), e-mail system support (Office 365), PC/Server access and operational system maintenance and support, application support (including the Office Suite, SharePoint, Funds software, Trust/Company software), system, maintenance and monitoring and telephone setup/support
    • You will work as a Global IT team member and will follow existing procedures and policies
    • You will manage relationships with internal and external IT providers, regular working with them on any technical issues and active projects
    • There will be travel to offices across this region, including Edinburgh, Fareham, Isle of Man and Dublin
    • You will work closely with the Senior IT Leadership team and other key stakeholders within the firm to define, develop, plan, and implement JTC's ongoing IT Infrastructure strategy across this region
    • Adhere to Risk & Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation
    • Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours
    • You will have relevant experience working in a professional environment and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills.
    • A proven record of success in senior level IT/Information Systems/Information Security
    • Over 7 years senior level experience of management of people and resources
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Server environments
    • Ability to problem solve individually and, in a group, as well as handling multiple tasks concurrently, the ability to manage your time effectively
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Citrix Server environments
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Good interpersonal and customer care skills with an ability to assess each employees IT knowledge levels
    • Strong team player able to work effectively with diverse client groups
