Description
Working as part of the Integrated Pathways Division alongside our therapy and speech and language colleagues the successful candidate will be passionate about providing nutritional care to inpatients and outpatients in the hospital setting.
We are looking for an individual who is confident in motivating the team to deliver a seamless service and advice/training to staff in different areas of the hospital.
You will have responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the acute team and requires a range of skills and experience including the ability to communicate effectively lead and support staff and manage a defined caseload of complex inpatients including patients requiring artificial nutrition support.
The Dietetic Team consists of 26 staff including Dietitians and Dietetic Support Staff providing an integrated adult and paediatric service to acute and community settings.
You will have access to clinical supervision and have opportunities to undertake continuing professional development as identified by your training needs and objectives.
To work as part of the leadership team in the Nutrition and Dietetic Service with specific responsibility for the operational management and delivery of the dietetic community services across a variety of settings.
To be lead clinical dietitian foracute services, including promoting high quality care to inpatients and outpatients.To provide a source of expertise to patients, carers, medical practitioners, AHPs and social care within the hospital.
To lead the planning, development and evaluation of defined service improvement and transformation projects within Nutrition and Dietetics.
To lead the training of colleagues, Nutrition and Dietetic staff and students
To contribute to the budget and performance management in delegated areas of the Nutrition and Dietetic service

oDegree/Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics
