    Responsibilities

    Procurement and Commercial Negotiation

    • Apply in-depth knowledge of procurement processes and strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements
    • Lead commercial negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts
    • Develop negotiation plans, conduct supplier assessments, and evaluate proposals to drive cost reductions while maintaining quality standards.
    • Experience in technology and automation with a strong focus on driving transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and deliver commercial value
    • Experience in leveraging innovative solutions to streamline processes and optimize business operations, ultimately driving sustainable growth and competitive advantage

    Cost-saving Initiatives:

    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation across procurement categories
    • Implement initiatives to optimize spend, streamline processes, and enhance supplier relationships
    • Drive conversations with stakeholders to increase awareness of cost-saving opportunities and promote a culture of financial stewardship

    Data Analysis

    • Analyse data comprehensively using Excel, Power BI(desirable) pivot tables, data visualisation tools, and dashboard creation to interpret complex datasets
    • Evaluate business opportunities, market trends, and operational efficiencies through commercial analysis, translating data into strategic insights and supporting the IAG Airports transformation initiatives and relevant associated tender processes
    • Develop and present reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, making data accessible and understandable to non-technical audiences
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business processes, and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements and strategic planning
    • Manage and prioritise multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of insights and recommendations
    • Continuously seek ways to automate and improve data analysis and reporting processes, utilising the latest tools and techniques in data analytics

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, address concerns, and solicit feedback.
    • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and negotiate contracts that support the company's interests

    Experience in Ground Handling (Highly Desirable not mandatory)

    • Utilize knowledge of ground handling operations to identify areas for cost optimization and process improvement
    • Leverage industry expertise to develop innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce expenses
    • Provide insights and recommendations to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in ground handling activities
    Qualifications

    Bachelor'/Masters Degree preferred

    • Proficiency in using Excel to create advanced data models, compelling visualisations, and interactive dashboards
    • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate large volumes of information with accuracy and attention to detail
    • Presentation Excellence: Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data into engaging, understandable presentations for a broad audience
    • Inherent Commercial Insight: Solid understanding of business operations, with the ability to conduct nuanced commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making
    • Superior Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating intricate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Creative Problem-Solving: Innovative and logical approach to identifying and implementing effective solutions
    • Organisational Prowess: Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to navigate through extensive datasets and timelines to extract critical business insights
    • Adaptive Learning: Continuous learner, staying abreast of the latest industry trends, and leveraging new tools and techniques in data analysis and commercial evaluation
    • Strong people skills, with an ability to coach and develop others
    • Excellent written and spoken English and/or Spanish is a plus

    Experience Required

    • Good understanding of corporate compliance & controls standards and practical experience in applying them in the own area of responsibility
    • Working proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel
    • Demonstrate consistent record of achieving cost savings
    • Experience dealing with contracts
    • Working experience at an airport desirable not mandatory
