    Description

    An opportunity has arisen for a VAT Senior manager or Director to join our London based, Indirect Tax team and become part of our award winning, corporate tax department.

    The role will suit an experienced Senior Manager or Director with a passion for providing excellent client service and high quality VAT advice and assistance across a wide range of industries and sectors. From large multinational corporations, to growing entrepreneurial businesses, our client base is as diverse as our team. In particular, a good in-depth knowledge of VAT relating to the property and construction sector is required.

    Key responsibilities and duties will include the following:

    • Taking responsibility for the delivery of high quality VAT advice to a diverse portfolio of clients.
    • Being the first point of contact for many clients.
    • Supervision, training and mentoring of junior staff.
    • Dealing with VAT related matters referred internally by the corporate tax team, audit, outsourced accounting and from other areas of the business.
    • Being involved in business development and proposal activity.
    • Ensuring all risk procedures are adhered to.
