    Job Title: Fundraising and Events Administrator

    Immediate Start - Temporary to Permanent Position

    Pay- £13 - £14 per hour

    Location: London

    Charity Talent are recruiting for a Health Research UK (HRUK) is dedicated to funding world-class research aimed at discovering the causes, developing new treatments, and improving the lives of those affected by neurological conditions.

    They solely rely on the generosity of their supporters to drive vital, life-changing research forward.

    They are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Fundraising and Events Administrator. This role is pivotal in supporting our fundraising efforts and ensuring exceptional supporter care. This is an immediate start, 2-month Temporary contract with the possibility of applying for the Permanent job.

    Responsibilities:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for London Marathon runners, providing outstanding customer service and maximising fundraising potential.

    Respond promptly and courteously to public and supporter inquiries via telephone, email, social media, and other communication channels.

    Process all incoming income accurately into the Donorfy database and ensure timely acknowledgment.

    Maintain meticulous records of inquiries, correspondence, and responses.

    Build and maintain strong relationships with Challenge Event fundraisers, providing necessary materials and support.

    Assist with various fundraising activities and events, including administration, participant support, and communication.

    Monitor social media channels and contribute relevant content.

    Support communications efforts by contributing to appeals, website content, and newsletters.

    Act as a liaison for administrative matters with external suppliers and finance department.

    Person Specification:

    Methodical and well-organised, with a keen attention to detail.

    Minimum 12-15 months of experience in supporter care and/or fundraising event administration within the Third Sector.

    Excellent supporter care skills, both written and verbal.

    Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), with familiarity with PowerPoint.

    Knowledge of social media platforms and their use in organizational outreach.

    Experience with CRM databases, preferably Donorfy.

    You will have experience of working in a similar environment.
