- Support the department in providing recommendations on their management on investment opportunities based on your own analysis and evaluation (including the handling of internal applications for such procedures)
- Support business departments as an "in-house advisor" in terms of investment sourcing and deal execution
- Consider and advise management of subsidiaries and affiliates on their business and operations and offer ways to improve performance and efficiency
- Support strategic exits of investments as required
- Coach and develop junior staff members in the department
- Investment Portfolio Manager Ideal Candidate:
- Essential (in one of more of the following areas): corporate finance, M&A, portfolio management, business strategy/development and risk management
- Undergraduate university education or higher
- Degree in Management & Business Administration, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar (preferred)
- Business level of English
- Excellent understanding of corporate finance and M&A
- Results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality deliverables
- Happy to travel frequently, mainly in Europe and occasionally further afield
- All applicants must have the right to work in the UK as the Company is not able to offer visa support.
