    We're looking for talented Senior Data Engineers with skills and experience including SQL, Teradata, AWS, Snowflake, Airflow, Git and Python.

    As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end data products in an Agile environment while contributing to the renowned British Airways service and shaping the future of our business.     Your responsibilities will include:

    • Investigating business problems and fostering meaningful connections with stakeholders
    • Designing flexible, high-quality data solutions using various approaches, techniques, and tools in the BA Data Technology Stack
    • Developing new code, supporting existing code, and managing data infrastructure
    • Ensuring data security and maintaining quality assurance
    • Producing documentation to support evolving business needs
    • Working collaboratively with your data product team and striving to deliver for the business

    Who we're looking for:

    We are seeking individuals with experience in designing and producing data and BI solutions who are eager to expand their knowledge across the entire data assets lifecycle. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to influence and lead team projects while prioritizing delivery and value. With a natural curiosity and adaptability to the ever-changing worlds of business and technology, you'll thrive in our dynamic Agile environment.

    In addition, you'll bring:

    • Expertise in SQL development
    • Expertise in Teradata (preferred)
    • Proficiency in using cloud-native Big Data technologies (preferred)
    • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, particularly AWS, and PaaS services
    • Strong knowledge of EDW design principles
    • Familiarity with Snowflake and its capabilities
    • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux servers, as well as container usage (desirable)
    • Flexibility and resilience in the face of change
    • A genuine passion for our brand and commitment to our customers
