I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Warwickshire who are seeking a Senior Colour and Material Designer to join their team
As Senior Colour and Material Designer your main responsibilities are:
Responsible for the development of interior/exterior body and trim finishes and surface materials in terms of colour, aesthetic and tactile qualities and the selection and application
Lead private client and Edition projects including commissions, specification generation and stakeholder alignment, liaise with global Markets, facilitate Creative approvals, delivery of any unique content such as unique embroidery personalisation
Responsible for agreeing design changes and communicating direction to team and suppliers and for coordinating suppliers to deliver on time
Approximately 5 years' experience as a designer with proven experience or examples in portfolio of colour and material design application.
Proficient in adobe creative suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.Textile Fashion, Graphics, Product, Automotive design or similar.
Experience working with luxury lifestyle brands.
Experience working with clients on the creation and delivery of client projects.
A good understanding of automotive design and delivery processes.
