- Working experience of Sage 50 and Sage HR (We are migrating to Quickbooks or Xero by end of Q2}
- Working experience of Quickbooks \ Xero
- Construction and project experience preferred (not essential for the correct candidate)
- Preparation of monthly accounts, accrual, prepayments and journals.
- Day to day operations such as sales invoicing, bill payments, expense claims, and other transactions
- Month-end close (WIP, overhead journals, management accounts prep, balance sheet reconciliations)
- Sales and Purchasing Ledgers
- Cash Flow Forecasting (this includes payment forecasts)
- Maintenance of company finance records and documentation.
- Preparation, checking and submission of VAT returns.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Project Forecasting & Analysis
- Expenses Approval and Payments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
