    Description

    Credit Risk ManagerLondon (x3 days)Up to £95,000

    Are you a clear communicator with a passion for solving complex business problems and adding significant commercial value using mass volumes of data? This role uses those skills to drive credit risk and lending strategies (from ideation to implementation) at a fast-paced, scale-up lender.

    THE COMPANY

    A fast-paced, innovative lender where data lies at the center of everything. The role sits in an ultra-high calibre credit risk and analytics function embedded into this collaborative, lean business executing on it's high growth strategy.

    THE ROLE

    • Drive data-driven business strategy focused around core lending and credit risk problems
    • Work cross functionally and with a variety of stakeholder to deliver strategic lending and credit risk changes to help the business optimise for growth and risk
    • Hands on role using SQL to interrogate data, with opportunity to also use Python for those capable/willing to learn
    • Opportunity to lead a small team of exceptional analysts or to work as an individual contributor

    YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Experience solving credit risk or similar data-driven problems in a consumer lending environment
    • Experience driving strategy within a consumer lending environment
    • Strong background in data including using SQL daily. Python is beneficial
    • Examples of exceptional performance or high level of positive impact in previous role(s)
    • Strong academic background can be a positive indicator of successful candidates - examples include A* or A in Mathematics at A-levels and a strong STEM degree from a top university
