    Hybrid Central London

    Our client, a well-respected and reputable professional membership body in the construction sector based in Central London is currently looking for a Communications Manager.
    The Role of Communications Manager
    To help promote all the work to members and stakeholders, seeking a confident and dynamic individual to deliver engaging communications that positively impact the presence and profile of the membership body within the construction industry and beyond.
    Playing a vital role in managing, shaping, and driving corporate messaging, requiring outstanding written, communication, and presentation skills to develop communications and digital strategies while leading high-profile campaigns.
    Being part of a busy team addressing long-standing issues, the ability to prioritize, assert oneself, and show resilience is essential.
    Responsibilities
    • Developing and implementing marketing, media, and digital strategies to increase engagement with members and promote the brand across the construction industry
    • Creating and developing written content and overseeing the distribution of external communications, including press releases, newsletters, website content, and social media
    • Delivering policy-oriented communications, identifying key messages, and managing campaigns for industry change
    • Producing membership information, guidance, promotional materials, and web content with design team support
    • Overseeing corporate identity and brand usage for communication co-ordination and quality control
    • Managing press functions, acting as media contact, providing articles and quotes, and monitoring coverage
    • Developing relationships with journalists and other stakeholders to increase visibility and ensure industry unity
    • Enhancing web experience, including content and navigation improvements
    • Monitoring media coverage and trends for insightful reports to the Senior Management Team
    • Undertaking tasks as requested for team success
