    The opportunity

    We are excited to welcome a Senior Finance Manager to our Recycleye team. This person will take ownership of financial projections, reporting, and help to inform strategy. They will also support on financial administration and some additional tasks beyond finance that can come up in the quickly moving world of a scale-up. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in all financial elements of a growing and innovative green technology company, and likely will play an integral role in our next round of funding.

    Ownership and Impact

    · Financial Reporting

    • Managing investor relationships and information insight to financial matters
    • Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) modelling
    • Monthly booked revenue and income forecast

    · Finance Administration

    • Accounts receivables: monitor and prepare invoicing to all customers – includes preparing, sending and storing client invoices; collaborating with other teams to ensure invoicing accuracy; monitoring and chasing payments; answering billing queries
    • Manage the P&L and Xero, R&D tax credit claims, and support our third-party accountants in putting together year end accounts, etc.
    • Process new contracts and sales; maintain contracts database and client records for billing.

    · Business and Legal Administration

    • Oversee company insurances, business rates and other legal obligations.
    • Maintain policies such as quality and environmental, among others.
    • Manage the cap table, company books, and EMI scheme.
    • Support some legal reviews and negotiations with customers.

    · Strategy

    • Take ownership for financial strategy at Recycleye while working in partnership with the CEO to make real time decisions about the business. Includes managing potential venture debt, taking the lead on potential M&A activity and supporting the CEO on fundraising and corporate development.
    • Debt management

    · Ad hoc tasks

    • We are still a growing scale-up so various things and tasks may come up outside of the envisioned role that this person will take energetic ownership of.

    Requirements

    · Proven experience in investor relations, finance, banking, VC or PE, or related fields, preferably within the technology sectors

    · Experience in a financial leadership role within an early-stage technology company

    · Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis, with experience developing and maintaining complex financial models

    · Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making

    · Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and financial regulations

    · Willingness to operate both at a strategic level as well as in the minutia of day-to-day finance work

    · Experience working in the IoT space, or industries with both hardware and software products

    · Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field

    · MBA or CPA designation
