    Overview

    We are a dynamic team that handles projects of varying sizes and scopes across different therapy areas. We propose grants to develop programs for healthcare professionals globally. As independent medical education providers, our funders maintain a hands-off approach. Working collaboratively, we strive to expand our reach, offer innovative solutions, and enhance the learning experience to improve patient outcomes.

    The Account Manager plays a crucial role in establishing, managing, and delivering independent medical education projects within budget and schedule, while reporting on project outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    • Project Management
    • Manage a portfolio of assigned Independent Medical Education projects according to business objectives and company strategy.
    • Define project requirements, timelines, deliverables, budget, and outcomes.
    • Lead day-to-day project management activities, serving as the main point of contact throughout the project.
    • Focus on relationship management with partners, faculty, vendors, and internal colleagues.
    • Organize and oversee educational events and activities, including venue logistics and vendor coordination.
    • Ensure adherence to SOPs, workflows, and best practices.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
    • Analyze marketing trends and channels effectiveness.
    • Conduct competitor analysis and research for product and service enhancements.
    • Learn new content management tools for in-house programs.
    • Financial Management
    • Coordinate payments and record project costs accurately.
    • Manage project budgets and financial reporting.
    • Prepare program costings for business development opportunities.
    • Record project hours for budget measurement.
    • Ensure licensing and accounts are up to date.
    • Editorial Support
    • Maintain high standards of scientific and editorial quality in all communications.
    • Manage faculty logistics, contracts, and content permissions.
    • Generate reports on project outcomes and user participation.
    • Manage translation services for project materials.
    • Other General Duties
    • Travel internationally as required.
    • Attend group meetings.
    • Fulfill other duties as assigned.

    Key Competencies

    • Skills: Communication, writing, organization, prioritization.
    • Qualities: Proactive, resourceful, team player, adaptable.
    • Knowledge: IME's main therapy areas, international healthcare.
    • Language: Fluent in English.

    Required Experience

    • Experience in project management and delivery.
    • Managing third-party vendors.
    • Editing and writing skills.
    • Background in STM and/or Medical Communications industries.

    Desirable Experience

    • Event coordination and digital content management.
    • Participation in marketing campaigns for educational programs.
