    My client is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our busy organisation, which encompasses commercial contracting as well as manufacturing and retailing a wide range of fencing and landscaping products.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience and the ability to manage all aspects of limited company accounts, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

    Processing and checking purchase invoices against POs, entering data into Sage, and filing hard copies.
    Managing payments of vendor invoices, tracking bank account balances, and reconciling bank statements.
    Preparing and processing payroll, maintaining employee records.

    Preparing monthly financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheets, and presenting accounts with project costings to the management team.

    Preparing annual limited company accounts for handover to accountants.
    Maintaining excellent knowledge of Sage and demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in financial management.
    AAT qualification.
    Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in bookkeeping.
    Proficient in Sage accounting software.
    Experience in preparing financial statements and completing VAT returns.
    Skilled in payroll processing and maintaining accurate employee records.
    Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial management.
    Competitive salary £35,000 PA, dependent on experience.
    ~21 annual holidays.
    ~ Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm working hours.
    ~ Company pension scheme.
