    Description

    Quest Search & Selection is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity with a prominent retail eCommerce company specializing in consumer goods and food delivery. They offer an extensive range of products including household essentials, medication, pet care, office supplies, beauty products, groceries, and even fresh prepared food.

    About the Role:

    • Lead the product range by identifying the optimal number of products, store ranges, and category allocations.
    • Head a team of Category & Supply Chain Managers.
    • Monitor competitive price indices and implement pricing policies accordingly.
    • Manage key account relationships, negotiate deals, and maintain balance between range expansion and waste minimization.
    • Provide insights into buying decisions and optimize availability through A/B testing.
    • Manage store efficiency, inventory fullness, and develop strategies for in-app merchandising.
    • Act as the main contact with central distribution and analyze daily trade patterns.

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years in a Category/Buying background.
    • Leadership experience with a hands-on approach to strategy execution.
    • Data-savvy, analytical, and a strong decision-maker.
    • Experience in managing supply chain or Last-Mile Delivery is a plus.
    • Business building experience in eCommerce, retail, or FMCG.
    • Managed P&L responsibilities of million turnover.
    • Good communication skills, attention to detail, and high-level Excel proficiency.
