    Description

    We are looking forabrightand enthusiastic Senior Event Coordinator with a "can-do" attitude to join our growing Event Delivery team. Hanson Wade specialises in producing and delivering conferences within the Life Science, Construction and HR industries; the post holder will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of physical events for the European and US market, up to 2 per month. Ranging in size and logistical complexity, you will partner with key stakeholders and lead on the planning, development, and delivery of our events to create a memorable and unique experience for each customer.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Communicate with all customer types throughout the event life cycle: delegates, speakers, and sponsors
    • Work extensively with conference hotel, including but not limited to costs, setup, catering, Wi-Fi etc.
    • Manage Hanson Wade staff flights and accommodation
    • Represent the campaign and Hanson Wade onsite (international travel is required)
    • Create and proof event documentation
    • Creating running order for each event
    • Sourcing, negotiating, and managing external suppliers when applicable including but not limited to: AV, Technology, Signage, Hostesses
    • Budget management
    • Create, implement, and deliver mobile apps for the larger campaigns
    • Work closely with campaign project team to deliver on key goals and objectives of the campaign
    • Lead and delegate tasks to event executives working with you on larger campaigns
    • Assist with process updates and implementation of new projects.
    • Support other members of the function as and when necessary

    The ideal candidate:

    • Must have a strong and demonstrated passion for event management
    • Must have higher education degree or similar (Event Management degree preferred)
    • 1+ years of event management experience, specifically within the conference field
    • Proficient using PowerPoint, Word and Excel
    • Proactive and enthusiastic approach to the business needs, consistently offering flexibility and openness to changing circumstances.
    • Dependable, and consistently demonstrates high quality work and strong attention to detail.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a warm and personable attitude
    • Ability to prioritise responsibilities and have an organised approach to workloads.
    • Ability to work well under pressure, with high work volumes and multiple deadlines.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team player.
    • Able to provide unique customer service to customers of varying levels of seniority
    • Generates alternative solutions when solving problems and proactively addresses challenges

    Salary: 28,000 + bonus
