Thermal imaging - Corrective maintenance such as transformer replacements, transformer oil replacement, transformer cable oil replacement, Battery tripping unit replacement,...
- Assess safety and apply controls and safety measures required.
Facilitate a safe working environment during high / low voltage working. - Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures
- Liaise closely with team to understand and manage priorities.
- ECS Gold card – JIB Approved electrician required
- Proven track record of experience in the Electrical and/or distribution Industry
- Experience in HV maintenance work would be a plus
- Holding an HV or LV Authorised Person – SSEN, UKPN, Private Networks would be advantageous
- Motivation & dedication to be trained by Actemium to a HV Senior Authorised Person level
- 18th edition / 2391 inspection & testing
- Good knowledge of H&S and its practical implications.
- Good knowledge of Distribution Safety rules and their application.
- Computer literate – skilled in MS office
- Full driver's License, willingness to travel within the UK as required, and stay away a couple days a month
- Willingness to work weekends with overtime pay
- A self—disciplined approach, organized, structured and consistent in approach.
- A calm professional manner
- A "Can-Do" "Roll the sleeves up" attitude with a friendly & engaging personality
- Good communication skills (written & oral) are required for colleagues, customers, suppliers, sub-contractors (i.e. all levels).
