    • Broxtowe Borough Council serves Beeston Stapleford, Kimberley and Eastwood and surrounding areas, and has a diverse property portfolio of around 4800 properties that ranges from residential properties, operational assets and community facilities to leisure centres and high street retail premises.

    As the Compliance Assurance Officer you will be responsible for ensuring that all of the Council's properties are fully compliant with asbestos regulations and FRAs for all relevant operational, commercial and residential properties.

    You will be responsible for legionella compliance for 300 relevant properties across asset classes.

    You will work closely with the Service Lead and compliance areas that you will be directly responsible for across the estate will include fire, asbestos and legionella.

    You will need to ensure that all compliance records are kept up to date and also monitor any action points that require action following on from reports or inspections.

    You will also hold budget responsibility for budgets relating to compliance.
    NEBOSH Diploma or degree level equivalent

    • NEBOSH Fire Certificate

    The role is offered on a hybrid working basis and some presence at the council's head office and at sites throughout the borough will be required on a weekly basis.

    A salary of up to £42,000 is on offer for this position and you will also receive the below comprehensive benefits package:
    * 31 days annual leave, increasing to 34 days after 5 years local government continuous service and 36 days after 10 years Broxtowe Borough Council continuous service
