    Cerebra Search is proud to be working in partnership with one of the Top 100 fastest-growing Fintech companies, and one of the top companies to accelerate your career, to hire a new Head of Data.

    A bit about them:

    Established in 2017 by two tier-one Investment Bankers, and having raised significant funding through private investment, this FinTech has been supporting customers' financial stability and enabling their members to address unforeseen circumstances without the threat of the persistent debt spiral.

    On a mission to help people manage their finances better, the business is rapidly expanding, at a rate of 10,000 new customers per month, with a forecast to reach 300,000 by the end of the year.

    A bit about what you will be doing:

    We're looking for someone who can develop and execute a detailed data strategy, ensuring that data initiatives support business growth and innovation, and be able to explain these initiatives to non-technical colleagues.

    Alongside this, you should be someone experienced in building, mentoring, developing, and leading a team of data analysts, designing a strategy for what the team should look like as the business grows.

    As DPO, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to define and execute best practices for data governance, to ensure the integrity and reliability of data assets., as well as design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures, and infrastructure, to support data storage, processing, and analysis.

    A bit about you:

    You will need to have proven experience of successfully growing, and leading, data teams in the past, preferably at a start-up/scale-up.

    You should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand a data problem from a non-technical position, and offer insight based on data on potential solutions.

    A proven ability to strategically plan your department's work around company needs.
