We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Health & Safety Manager to join our client's dynamic team.
This role presents a unique opportunity to lead and drive a positive Health & Safety (H&S) culture within the organisation.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of our employees while contributing to the continued success and growth of the business.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety policies, procedures, and practices in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and standards.
Provide expert guidance and support to all levels of the organization on matters relating to health and safety, promoting a proactive approach to risk management.
Collaborate with department managers and staff to foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the organization.Monitor and analyze H&S performance metrics, preparing reports and recommendations for senior management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay abreast of developments in health and safety regulations, technologies, and practices, proactively implementing changes to enhance organizational safety standards.
Oversee the management of H&S documentation, records, and training programs, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance.NEBOSH General (essential)
NEBOSH Diploma (advantageous)
Proven experience (5+ years) in a health and safety leadership role within the manufacturing industry, with a demonstrable track record of driving positive H&S outcomes.
In-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, regulations, and standards, with specific familiarity with ISOStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and incident investigations.
Proactive and results-oriented approach, with a passion for promoting a culture of safety excellence.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to completion within established timelines.
