    Description

    Sales Engineer position available in the oilfield equipment manufacturing sector, located in Aberdeen.

    The ideal candidate will start on a temporary basis with the potential to transition to a permanent role.

    Sales Engineer Position Overview

    • Full sales and marketing support for the company's products, focusing on API Gate Valve Repair and machine shop.
    • Ability to work independently when needed.
    • Weekly client visit reports to the Sales Director.
    • Accurate sales tracking per client with predefined objectives.
    • Arrangement and coordination of sales presentations in alignment with the Sales Director.
    • Maintenance of technical sales documents.
    • Thorough reporting of client interactions.
    • Development of annual sales goals for approval by the Sales Director.
    • Ownership of sales and pricing strategies.
    • Review of all sales proposals by relevant authorities.
    • Active participation in Work in Progress meetings.
    • Adherence to proposal deadlines.
    • Consistent follow-up on proposals.
    • Mastery of product knowledge and operational expertise.

    Sales Engineer Position Requirements

    • Prior sales experience in the oil and gas or valves industry is crucial.
    • Familiarity with API Gate Valve Repair and machine shop operations.
    • Proximity to Aberdeen's commuting area.
    • Possession of a valid UK driving license.

    Sales Engineer Position Remuneration

    • Competitive salary range: £52,000, based on skills and experience.
    • Regular working hours with a one-hour lunch break.
    • 3-month probation period leading to a permanent position.
    • Death in Service benefit after one year - double the salary.
    • Healthcare benefits after two years for employee and family.
    • 20 days of annual leave plus 10 public holidays.
